"Tropic Protea" was a styled shoot put together by Confetti Love for the Marry Me - A NZ Wedding Experience 2016.

The brief was simple - White, Romantic, Tropical!

King White Protea's are the star of the floral pieces mixed in with a range of tropical foliage, Lily, White Rose, Clematis, Pink Protea, Pink Pineapples and Willow.

For the bouquet I wanted to the King Protea to standout. I used the Lily, Rose and Orchid to frame the Protea and added a mix of the rich green foliage, with the only colour coming from Purple Cordyline. The matching hair piece were created using Orchid, Clematis, Willow and Foliage and were pinned to the side of the brides hair.

The tablescape was a tropical garland including a long vine of sweet Clematis. Gold geometric candles and vases are threaded through the vines and garland, while Monstera leaves frame the tropical menus and plates.

The fireplace was framed with a tropical garland and soft draping fabric. The pink Proteas, pink Pineapples and yellow Orchids, give the garland the pop of colour that draws the eye to the area.
