The brief was to create a range of floral pieces with a moody palette for the stunning setting at Woodroyd Estate in Wellington, NZ.
I focussed on using a range of purples, greens and rich berries. With the season being a perfect mix of late Winter and early Spring, the range of flowers included Roses, Ranunculas, Jasmine, Poppies, and Hellebores (some straight from the Table Flower garden).
The bouquet was a garden style with a lush green ribbon finish and natural stems. The assymetrical shape worked well with the moody style and the beautiful dresses worn my the gorgeous bride Hayley. The hair piece complimented the bouquet with Willow and Ivy being the base of the crown.
The tablescape was styled with a full garland surrounded by candles. The garland was full of the purples and whites from the bouquet, with Ivy being the focal foliage on the plates. The marble menus worked incredibly with the silver in the Ivy and the rock fireplace.
